Progress was also made in the area of pharmacy, with both universities committing to continue their joint training programs for future pharmacologists. They discussed opportunities for collaborative research and the development of postgraduate education programs in pharmacology.
The Chinese partners expressed a keen interest in joint research efforts in chemistry, biotechnology, physics, and materials science. An agreement was reached to explore mechanisms for jointly financing promising research projects relevant to industrial enterprises in China.
“I have encouraged my colleagues to investigate potential partnerships with industrial stakeholders for our projects. We will also consider options for training Russian students at our institute in China,” shared Rector Karlovskaya.
