The 4th International Congress “Current Trends in Modern Cardiothoracic Surgery” recently took place in St. Petersburg, drawing an impressive gathering of around a thousand leading surgeons from Russia and beyond.
Among the distinguished participants was Dr. Svetlana Gorelik, Doctor of Medical Sciences and Professor at Belgorod National Research University (BelSU). Participants engaged in discussions about modern approaches to treating chest organ trauma and explored key issues in anesthesiology and resuscitation. Additionally, speakers addressed the challenges of managing patients with infectious diseases and complex pathologies, as well as strategies for dealing with combat-related chest injuries.
