Today the University has not only established its own scientific schools, but also attracts scholars from other regions and countries all over the world. The University is cooperating with more than 100 universities and scientific centres from abroad. It also trains its own scientific staff. Belgorod National Research University was sel ected among 20 universities of the Central Federal District of Russia for the number of doctoral students and the effectiveness of PhD studies.

Each year over 3000 students graduate fr om the University to make their input in the social, production and economy sectors of industry in the region and the country as a whole.
